The Celtic Village Show Band & Its Rehearsals

The Celtic Village Show Band has been doing shows in The Villages for several years now. We've performed at The Sharon, Savannah Center, on The Veranda at Fenney, and in Centers for many club groups. I've been their primary singer, with seven wonderful musicians that bring "traditional Celtic music" to life. Much of the music was written during the 1600s and 1700s the root of much of the music we have today. We feature two harps, a violin, a whistle/flute, an accordion, a Celtic drum, and a host of traditional Celtic stringed instruments played by our leader. Ours is the preeminent Celtic band in these parts, playing some of the most complicated and interesting music that I've ever done, both in tempo and traditional Celtic language.

Since the virus hit in March, we have been rehearsing weekly, carefully avoiding any unsafe interaction, even with each other; that is, until recently when we've reopened our rehearsals to the public, still operating under strict safety guidelines.

Every Monday
1:00 3:00 p.m.
Big Cypress Recreation Center

We hope you'll come join us, sit back, and enjoy the music.
