Barb's Obituary (Click on link to view.)

Gary Thanks Everyone

Barb’s funeral was very nicely done, but am glad to be back home again. I want to thank everyone who sent sympathy cards and/or made charitable donations in Barb's name. I sincerely thank you all for your support at this difficult time.

Gary R.

Sadly,
Barbara Resnick has lost her long battle with colon cancer. She passed peacefully Monday evening, August 5th, in her home. She and Gary moved here after they retired. Although they've only lived here four years, Barb leaped into The Villages lifestyle and became active in Angel Snugs (a local group that knits and crochets hats and scarves for children with cancer), the Sunset Pointe Photography Club and other clubs like Lynnhaven Neighbors, served as corresponding secretary for The Villages North Jewish Chavurah, and enjoyed playing bridge and bocce. Barb and Gary have been married almost 60 years.

Internment will be in the First Hebrew Society Cemetery in Preston, Connecticut, on Monday, August 12th. You can send Gary your support and condolences to:

 Gary Resnick
 720 Alcott Avenue

The Villages, FL 32162

If you'd like to order flowers for Barb's graveside service, order them through the Hiers-Baxley tribute store, where they guarantee delivery before the service begins. If you'd like to make a donation in her memory, please make it to the charity of your choice.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Barb & Gary's family and friends at this sad time.
