Operation Shoebox

A Volunteer is needed to pick up and deliver our donations to Operation Shoebox following our monthly lunch socials. Marie can't do it anymore. Call Ann Lewe at 750-1032 if you can do it. Thank You.

There is a collection box at every meeting. Click on links below for more information.

Marie Brady and other Lynnhaven Ladies members volunteer their time to Operation Shoebox here in The Villages, which prepares care packages for our troops and wounded veterans in hospitals. Marie has offered to take collected items to the group each month. Small, portable items that are easy to fit into the uniformly-sized bags that volunteers sew are needed. The operation no longer uses shoeboxes. More can be stuffed into the bags, and they are lighter and cheaper to ship to our troops. Operation Shoebox in The Villages stuffs and ships 500 550 bags every Monday!
