YOU can make a difference and volunteer at a Hospice Thrift Store, selling quality merchandise at bargain-basement prices. Sales from these stores generate income that helps Hospice of Marion County provide care to any patient, regardless of their ability to pay, and supports its special bereavement services for adults and children.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome.... Hospice Thrift Stores have a job to fit YOU and YOUR Schedule. Specialized store training is provided. Find your retail niche at our beautiful thrift stores, where you can help sorting through donations, serving customers in the store, or working the cash register. There is a job for EVERYONE. Volunteers often develop special friendships with staff and other volunteers and itís fun, worthwhile and fulfilling. In addition... EVERYONE loves a bargain and Volunteers get even better bargains with their Discount.

Thrift Store volunteers are vital to the welcoming and helpful atmosphere in each store, offering top notch quality, service and new merchandise... not to mention their monthly sales and specials, and... so many people benefit from the revenue provided by these stores. YOU CAN make a difference. Itís a win-win!

To become a volunteer, call the Volunteer Department at 352-873-7441 or go to the Hospice of Marion County website and complete an Application Form. Thank you.
