Mother's Day Community Food Drive

Judy & Jim Thank Everyone

Dear friends,

Thank you for your support of the Lady Lake United Methodist Church's Mother's Day food drive! The food in the photo is what you donated in advance and which we delivered to the church on Sunday.

Our goal was to "fill a truck" with food. Altogether on Mother's Day, we collected food that filled 3 pickup trucks, 3 SUVs and a sedan, and almost $500 in cash for the Christian Food Pantry in Lady Lake!

Thank you so much for honoring all mothers by your generosity! You are the best!

Jim & Judy Selock

Honor Your Mother
by Giving Back this Mother's Day by helping to feed hungry families.

 Sunday, May 10th
 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m.
 Lady Lake United Methodist Church

It is a drive-through food drive so there is no need to get out of your car. Just drive up to the truck parked in the church's parking lot and hand your food bags over to the volunteers or just open your trunk and they'll collect them. The church is at 109 W. McClendon Street in Lady Lake. The food will go to the Christian Food Pantry.

Items needed include:

  • Canned Ham, Chicken

  • Canned Vegetables

  • Canned Fruit

  • Peanut Butter & Jelly

  • Cereal

  • Grits

  • Spaghetti Sauce

  • Toilet Paper

The need is great, so please be generous. Thank you.

Don't want to travel to Lady Lake? You can drop your donation off at Judy Selock's, 2419 Wilson Way. She will have a box on her front porch from Now until Saturday, May 9th, and she'll take your donations.
