COVID-19 Testing Program in The Villages

Thanks to Joe Taibi for passing this information along.

Thank you for your interest in the University of Florida Health COVID-19 Testing Program in The Villages.

The testing program uses supplies and test kits provided by The University of Florida Infectious Disease Lab for which FDA approval is pending and includes 2 VOLUNTARY RESEARCH ARMS:

  • The first arm focuses on participants who meet established CDC CLINICAL guidelines (i.e., established symptoms or risk factors for COVID-19).
  • The second arm focuses on RESEARCH participants who do not presently show symptoms.

Testing will be conducted at the Villages Polo Field and we ask participants to use the South Entrance. We also ask that participants utilize their golf cart, if available, when visiting the testing site.

Unfortunately, test kits and supplies are limited due to resource issues at the state and national levels. As a result, we can only offer a limited number of testing appointments each day.

Answers to your questions below will help us determine which arm of testing you would be eligible for and will direct you to the appropriate scheduling page where you can sign up for a test appointment assuming testing supplies are available.

Please note that appointments for testing will be released 1 day in advance with all test slots for the next day coming online each morning at 8 AM, so if testing slots are no longer available today, you will have an opportunity to sign up for a slot again tomorrow.

***Test slots are allocated to those who sign up first.***
